These Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes are a fun and playful treat your grandkids will love! They are also easy to make your own by using different cake flavors and frosting colors.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 box of cake mix (plus the ingredients listed on the box)
  • Flat-bottomed ice cream cones
  • Frosting
  • Sprinkles

How to Make Them:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Make the cake batter by following the directions on the cake mix box.
  3. Fill each ice cream cone about halfway with the cake batter.
  4. Place the cones in a muffin tin so they stay upright.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cupcakes cool all the way before you start decorating.
  7. Use a piping bag or a spoon to spread frosting on top. Try to make it look like a scoop of ice cream!
  8. Add lots of sprinkles to make them colorful and fun.
  9. Serve the cupcakes in ice cream cone holders or on a platter.
