We all have things that scare us. Sometimes it’s not just one thing, but a bunch of things that make us feel nervous or unsure.
Since each of us is made by God in a special way, it makes sense that we’re all scared of different things. Some people are afraid of dying, speaking in front of others, heights (like me!), or even the sight of blood (yep, also me!). When we face those fears, we each react in our own way.
In a funny video shared online, one little boy shows exactly how he reacted to something that made him nervous. He’s happily walking along, holding his drink, when suddenly he slows down.
He notices something strange—the ground under him has changed. Instead of solid wood, it’s now clear glass! His reaction is both funny and totally understandable.
Right before stepping onto the glass, he stops and looks back. He’s clearly thinking it over. Then, very slowly, he crouches down and carefully places one foot, then the other, onto the glass.
In the end, he gently backs away from the glass part of the bridge and walks off in the other direction. His cautious little adventure reminds us how normal it is to feel afraid—and how brave it can be to face those fears, even for just a moment.
