Sometimes, we get a little sign from above. A gentle reminder that everything will be okay—and that the people we love are still with us, even if we can’t see them.
For 34-year-old Shai Ward and her 98-year-old grandma, Ranna, that sign comes in the form of a very special visitor—a talkative owl who shows up almost every day!
Shai couldn’t believe the sweet bond between her grandma and this friendly owl. So one day, she recorded a video of it for everyone to see.
And honestly, it does feel magical!
When the owl arrives, Ranna steps out onto her porch to “chat” with it. They go back and forth, with the owl hooting and sometimes even hopping right into her lap. It looks so happy and calm around her, like they’re old friends.
Their visit lasts a little while, and then the owl flies away—but it always comes back. Ranna and Shai think this owl might be more than just a bird. They believe it could be a loved one from the past stopping by to check in.
The first time the owl came was on February 24th. That’s the exact same day, two years earlier, when Grandpa passed away. Isn’t that amazing? It gives you chills!
Sometimes, moments like these feel like more than just a coincidence. These visits between Ranna and the owl are so heartwarming—and full of wonder. 💖
