If you could use a laugh right now, you’re in luck—Mary Maxwell is back! In this episode of “Laughing with Mary,” she brings her usual funny, no-nonsense style. Her honest and silly sense of humor never gets old, especially when she talks about everyday life!
In this episode, Mary reads a letter from Linda in Toledo. Linda writes:
“I’ve always had a dog, ever since I can remember. I can’t think of a time when I didn’t have one. I’m 82 now and have been a widow for 7 years. After my husband died, my Cocker Spaniel, Charlie, was my only real friend. Sadly, Charlie passed away about six months ago.”
She goes on:
“I feel very lonely and really want another dog. But my son says it would be cruel. He thinks I can’t take care of a dog like I used to. What do you think, Mary?”
That’s a great question—and one many people can understand. But Mary has her own way of answering. As always, she thinks outside the box and gives advice in her funny and honest way. And honestly? She might have a good point!
