Baby Shai was born early—at just 28 weeks and 4 days. His parents, Josh and Ximena, were scared and unsure if he would make it. For the first 8 weeks of his life, little Shai stayed in the NICU while everyone hoped and prayed for good news. Grandparents Timothy and Deborah waited with full hearts, hoping for the day they could finally hold their grandson.

Because of hospital rules, only the parents were allowed to visit Shai. But then, something wonderful happened—Shai was cleared to go home three-and-a-half weeks earlier than expected!

Josh and Ximena planned the perfect surprise visit to introduce baby Shai to his grandparents. Timothy and Deborah had been so patient and loving through it all, and the moment they finally got to meet their grandson was truly unforgettable.

You won’t want to miss their beautiful reactions—watch the special moment in the video below!
