An elderly couple in Florida was having trouble getting into their car in a parking lot. The woman was 89, and the man was 100. That’s when three young men came over to help. They didn’t wait—they just stepped in and started assisting the couple right away.
Levy County Sheriff’s Deputy Kanesha Carnegie saw what was happening. At first, she walked over to help, but then she saw the young men had it handled.
“I thought it was so beautiful,” she said. “So I stepped back and recorded the moment.”
The young men stayed with the couple until they were safely in their car. As someone who’s getting older myself, it’s heartwarming to know there are still caring people out there.
What a sweet reminder that kindness is alive and well. 😊
