Ron Williams is 84 years old. He lives alone with his cat, Fluffy. He got Fluffy from a friend and didn’t know then how much this little cat would change his life.

One day, Ron was getting out of the shower, something he had done many times before. But this time, he slipped and fell. He couldn’t get up and was stuck on the floor for almost 16 hours. No one else was there to help.

Then, Ron remembered something special. He used to say “ring-a-ding” every time his phone rang. Fluffy had learned to notice this phrase. So, as a last hope, Ron called out to Fluffy and said, “ring-a-ding.”

To his surprise, Fluffy came right to him and brought his phone within reach!

Ron believes that Fluffy saved his life. Now, people are calling Fluffy a hero! Usually, we hear about dogs saving the day, but this time, a brave cat was the star. Fluffy is like the Lassie of cats! 😊
